The VA Board of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology is hosting their quarterly meeting TODAY Thursday, July 18 in Richmond, VA. This is the licensing, regulatory, and disciplinary board for these professions in the Commonwealth. The agenda for this meeting can be found here.
Our very own Laura Purcell Verdun, M.A., CCC/SLP, will be in attendance, serving as the Vice-Chair of the Board. She is in the midst of a 4-year term, having been appointed by the Governor in 2010. She is licensed to practice and sees patients both in VA and DC. We are happy to have such a prominent professional figure in our fold!
